The French Bakery and Café La Madeleine, owned and operated by EACC member Le Duff America, is partnering with Walmart to bring their bakeries into the stores. La Madeleine will be starting this endeavor in Texas. The first Walmart to host the Bakery and Café will be in Garland, TX. It plans to open in the month of July. La Madeleine and Walmart are planning to open up 9 other test locations in the DFW metroplex. They will offer food options at these locations that they will tailor to the Walmart customers. Locations will also offer new menu items. Furthermore, each La Madeleine Express will be open for dine-in or grab-and-go options. This is an exciting opportunity for both the France-based group Le Duff as well as Texas as a large new market is being introduced to the restaurant that was started in Dallas.
