Erin McKelvey, President & CEO

Erin McKelvey oversees the operations of the European American Chamber of Commerce Texas and its dynamic growth across the state.  She works with city, state and both domestic and foreign government officials to enhance and bring about exchange and investment between the State of Texas and Europe for EACC Texas members, European SMEs and partners.  Erin has extensive experience in association management having previously served for 11 years as Director of both the Dallas/Fort Worth and San Francisco Chapters of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Erin served as Director of Programs & Member Relations at the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, where she enjoyed interacting with the Council on Foreign Relations and other international think tanks to create policy-related programming.  Erin has launched successful programs in Dallas such as EuroTech Talks and European American Flight Forum as well as the Europe Day events in both Dallas and Houston. She is a frequent speaker and moderator of international webinars and panels including at SXSW for the EU Delegation to the United States.

Erin’s prior business achievements include the launch and management of her own import company wholesaling high-end wine accessories nationwide through large and small-scale retailers, restaurants, and online stores.

Erin holds a degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a Certification in Non-Profit Mgmt.  She is fluent in French.

Anna Korkalainen
Anna Korkalainen, Events & Communications Manager

Anna Korkalainen is the Events and Communications Manager at the European American Chamber of Commerce Texas, where she is responsible for the success of the Chamber’s events, external and internal communications, and the integration of new and existing members into the EACC network. Passionate about international trade, she brings people together to share knowledge and create meaningful networking opportunities for European and Texas businesses.

Anna previously served as the Country Branding and Event Manager at the Embassy of Finland in Mexico, where she led public diplomacy initiatives and organized high-level events promoting Finland’s expertise and innovation. She is also the co-founder of an internationalization consultancy that developed tools for agile international market research and competitive analysis, helping Nordic and European companies expand their reach.

Originally from Finland, Anna has lived and worked across Latin America, building lasting networks and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Turku and is fluent in Finnish, Spanish, and English.
