This visiting Finnish delegation comprises experienced, capital-ready investors who co-invest actively and build long-term relationships with their portfolio companies- bringing not just funding but also highly relevant hands-on expertise and deep networks to the table.

In Austin, they are looking to meet a range of ecosystem players: including early-stage entities who are still discovering their footing, along with more mature scaleups and companies with proven growth trajectories. Specific industries include: B2B SaaS, deep tech, healthcare and cleantech. They are actively looking for introductions and would possibly be wiling to consider syndication. Any warm introductions would be welcomed.

FiBAN – Finnish Business Angels Network
One of Europe’s Largest and Most Active Angel Investor Networks

FiBAN is a non-profit network of over 600 approved angel investors and one of the largest and most active business angel networks in the world. Over the past 15 years, FiBAN members have invested over half a billion euros in Finnish startups. In 2025 alone, the network deployed €57 million into Finnish growth companies, including 11 million investments into VC funds.

FiBAN’s community is highly active and engaged: over 100 events organised annually, 4,200 event registrations, 1,500 startup applications reviewed, and 65 partners including companies, VCs, and ecosystem organisations. 40% of new members are women, and the number of angel syndicates is growing rapidly. At the 2026 EBAN Congress, FiBAN was recognised as the Best Performing Business Angels Network in Europe.

Angel-funded companies in Finland account for one third of all Finnish startup jobs — 14,000 jobs created and €4 billion in annual revenue generated by FiBAN members’ portfolio companies.

The delegation of 10-15 active angel investors and key Finnish ecosystem builders has a clear interest in the US market and early-stage deal flow. FiBAN members are experienced, capital-ready investors who co-invest actively and build long-term relationships with their portfolio companies.
