EACC Texas Chairwoman Michelle Schulz
Michelle Schulz is the Founder and Managing Partner of Schulz Trade Law PLLC, a Dallas-based firm specializing in international trade law. As Chairwoman of the EACC Texas Board of Directors, she has over two decades of experience in import and export compliance and enforcement matters. She is also a founding member of the EACC Texas Transatlantic Trade Alliance (ETTA) task force, launched earlier this year.
As an international trade attorney, Michelle represents Fortune 500 companies and global corporate clients in compliance with U.S. and international regulations governing exports of dual-use commodities, defense articles, software, and technology. Her clients span the globe – from North and South America to Europe, Africa, and Asia. She serves as an outside advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Aerospace (ITAC-1), holding a secret-level security clearance.
Her practice encompasses defense exports under ITAR, dual-use exports under EAR, U.S. Customs Regulations, FCPA, CFIUS regulations, sanctions, embargoes, and trade data reporting. She regularly guides corporate counsel through international trade due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
Ario Aalaei
Ario Aalaei is the Founder and Principal of BridgePoint Global Advisors, a Texas-based advisory firm focused on freight, supply chain strategy, and international market entry. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in global freight forwarding and container shipping across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Over the course of his career, he has led large ocean freight and logistics organizations, managed multimillion-dollar customer portfolios, and worked closely with global shipping lines, importers, and multinational companies. His experience spans everything from carrier contracts and trade lane strategy to port selection, routing decisions, and helping companies respond to changing market conditions. Today, through BridgePoint, he advises leadership teams on how to make smarter freight and supply chain decisions, especially when markets become more volatile or complex.
His work is grounded in a simple idea: most supply chain problems do not begin with execution — they begin with structure, planning, and the decisions made before disruption hits.
