Dallas Baptist University is a private, Christ-centered comprehensive university located in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1898 originally as Decatur Baptist College, DBU has grown into a nationally recognized institution committed to transforming lives through integrated faith and learning for the glory of God.

With a mission to produce servant leaders capable of integrating faith into every sphere of life and work, Dallas Baptist University emphasizes small class sizes, genuine community, and mentoring relationships that foster academic excellence, spiritual growth, and cultural engagement.
DBU offers a broad range of academic programs across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, including liberal arts, sciences, business, education, ministry, and professional studies. The university provides traditional, adult, online, and continuing education pathways designed to equip students with knowledge, practical skills, and a strong Christian worldview.
With a student population of around 5,000, DBU proudly welcomes its International students from nearly 60 countries, creating a vibrant and globally diverse campus community, while some call it a Global Village.

DBU’s main campus spans more than 350 scenic acres in southwest Dallas, complemented by additional academic centers across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. During the winter months, particularly from December through January, the campus takes on a castle-like appearance, creating one of its most striking and memorable landscapes.
