EACC Texas Leadership Weighs In on Looming EU Tariffs – Watch the Full Interview

The recently proposed 30% tariffs on the European Union, set to take effect August 1, could significantly impact the U.S.–EU trade relationship.

“By region, Europe contributed the most new investment into the United States: almost $100 billion in 2024. That’s 64% of all new investment, above Asia and the Pacific, which many people assume are our most important trading partners.”

“Manufacturing is the largest for most new investment. You have not only goods, but also services and foreign direct investment in the United States. The EU is an important trading partner for Texas as well, with a significant focus on energy.”
