Francisco Duarte Lopes\, the Ambassador of Portugal to the United States\, and Carlos Moura\, Director/Trade Commissioner\, USA. \n \nFrancisco Duarte Lopes \nAmbassador of Portugal in USA since 2022 \nAmbassador Duarte Lopes\, a career diplomat\, previously served as Portugal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2017 to 2022. Before this role\, he held key positions within Portugal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs\, achieving the rank of Ambassador in December 2015. He served as Political Director\, Director-General for European Affairs\, and Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for European Affairs\, demonstrating his expertise in European and institutional affairs. Duarte Lopes also worked as a diplomatic advisor to the Prime Minister and held positions in Portugal’s Permanent Representation to the European Union. His Diplomatic Career began in 1989\, and he has extensive international experience\, including postings in Pakistan as Denmark. Ambassador Duarte Lopes\, born in Castelo Branco\, Portugal\, holds a law degree from the Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa. \n \nCarlos Moura \nDirector / Trade & Investment Commissioner\, USA since 2024. \nInitiated his career as a Human Resources Expert with AIG before moving on to the involvement with Portugal’s external economics. Since then\, have held several roles in Human Resources\, International Financing and Product Management\, with postings in London\, Dublin\, Singapore\, São Paulo and the Nordic Markets (based in Stockholm\, Sweden).\nActive member of the Swedish Portuguese Chamber of Commerce from 2016 to 2022\, of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo from 2012 to 2016 and European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (Eurocham) from 2008 to 2011\, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors for the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI).\nGraduated in Business and Public Administration (1992)\, specializing in Human Resource Management\, from Lisbon University\, holding two post-graduate diplomas in Diplomacy (1993) and Consulting & Training related to Company Management and Organization (1993)\, from the University of Lisbon. DESCRIPTION:The EACC Texas is partnering with Personal Analytics and Sports Statistics\, LLC (PA$$) and Soccer Spectrum to host a series of exciting International Fans Tournaments in Dallas during the summer of 2026! As part of the World Cup excitement\, the EACC Texas is inviting fans from every nation competing in Dallas and around the world to participate in our series of one-day Soccer Spectrum World Cup tournaments. \nTeams are built out of country of origin or support. \nHow to join: \n\nGroup of 7+ players: $35/person\nIndividual players: $50/person\nThese are co-ed tournaments\, refer to the Soccer Spectrum website for more information\n\nRegister as an entire team up to 12 players or you can register as an individual or small group and be placed on a team for your desired country. \nEach team will receive a unique Soccer Spectrum World Cup Jersey as a part of their registration fee. \n\n\nTournament Format \n\n7 v 7 games\n3-game minimum guarantee\n\n\n\nGroup play matches \n\n20-minute games\nGroup winners advance to playoffs\n\n\nPlayoffs \n\nSemifinals and Finals\nGolden Goal overtime if tied after regulation\n\n\n\nPRIORITY REGISTRATION OPEN NOW \n\nRegister now at no cost to be put on a priority registration list.\nWith priority registration\, you will receive access to the official registration 48 hours before the general public is allowed to register\, guaranteeing you a spot in your desired tournament date.\nThe events will sell out and once we reach capacity\, we are unable to add any players or teams.\n\n\nCLICK FOR PRIORITY REGISTRATION!
