DESCRIPTION:Join us on May 12th for our first EACC Texas event \n \nAbout Our Speaker:\n\n  \nErik Brattberg currently serves as the Director of the Europe Program and Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington\, D.C. In the past he has held positions with multiple international affairs think tanks such as the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University\, Atlantic Council\, and the German Marshall Fund. He is also a frequent contributor to international media outlets including the Washington Post\, Financial Times\, Politico and has provided media commentary on a variety of networks including CNN\, BBC News\, Fox News\, NPR\, ABC News\, Deutsche Welle\, and France 24.\n\nBrattberg is an expert on European politics and security and transatlantic relations with over a decade’s experience in policy analysis\, through leadership and strategy\, on both sides of the Atlantic. Working in the geopolitics-technology-trade nexus with a particular focus on U.S. cooperation with Europe and transatlantic relations\, he regularly advises governments\, corporations and investors. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and by institutions such as Johns Hopkins University\, the Center for Strategic and International Studies\, the German Council on Foreign Relations\, and the European Policy Centre.
